Why bother? I've had my car 65 years, and have had to tighten the spokes once, by shimming. If I have to do them in the same interval, I'll be around 125 years old.0

I remember reading about this being done quite sometime ago it was a T model Ford powered by a 2.0 Cosworth they made the alloy spoke wheels that looked like wooden wheels to handle the power.0

I think it is a great idea. Some of these cars have wood spokes are too far gone to repair. This is a good option.0

I just bought a 12 spoke inner for my 27 from someone who scored a storage unit full of early Hudson parts. The pic was a bit blurry and I thought someone had painted the spokes a weird color. Once I got it I realized that the spokes are aluminum. From what he told me afterwards, he had a box full of these aluminum spokes, so I'm guessing I have one of a complete set. Whoever buys or bought the remainder of this unit is going to have a surprise. I could not post a pic here but I did post pics on the club's Facebook page.0
