Flathead Engine Rebuild

To all of you who live in Southern California. Do you know of a good restoration shop where I could get my flathead rebuilt. It's a 1950 Hudson Pacemaker straight 6, 232 c.i. So far I have 1 quote between $6-$8k, which I've been told is about right and another few pending. Any help I appreciated. Thanks.

do it yourself for under $5000

I hear Hanford Auto Parts (Hanford, CA) might be a good choice for a rebuild:0

@Uncle Josh if I had the proper tools then I would. It is frozen and rusted so I would prefer someone who knows what they're doing handle it. I will take a part as much as I can just to see what I can clean and swap out.
Thank you @Hudspeth69, I work locally to this shop so I will swing by.
It is expensive out here, one shop quoted me 8.5K cause they would have to rebuild the pistons. So I will keep looking.
