I am ordering an engine stand right now. I want to build an engine that is in order of importance:

1. reliable

2. efficient

3. Powerful

My plans at the moment:

1. The new Rudy Chuck aluminum head

2. aluminum intake that 50C8Dan is working on.

3. 1/2 Head studs

4. All components balanced, etc

Everything else will depend on what I find when I get the engine disassembled, but I'm looking for suggestions on components and machining to get optimal results.
