Paper filters for oil bath design?

Hey all
I would like to convert my oil bath air cleaners to paper filters(oil less setup)
Does anyone have the part number for Napa or another company ?
I’ve heard of folks doing this but haven’t found a 100% straight answer.
Would like to keep the mess down and would like to use WASHABLE filters if possible
Another thing is ,IS IT WORTH IT?  do they breath better or am I just throwing money at a problem that just needs to be handled as it once was years ago , changing it out with every oil change and don’t let them tip over.
thanks !
-Blake
ps I need a new bracket for my baths , mine has been altered and cut up over the years if anyone has got one that’s not all that please PM me

I have a friend in the engine overhaul business. He has had his own shop for a long time, was in the racing business too. When I told him of my plans to change out/convert my oil bath cleaner he asked me “why would you do that?” After listening to him, I left it alone.

  • If you remove the insert on the oil bath filters for the Twin-H or the "Commodore-8 style" the NAPA 2011 or WIX 42011 fits in just fine.

@tigermoth thanks, I was wondering that same thing. I’ve heard that there superior to paper.
@cchancel have you found any difference in performance or anything else?
  • I did not take the time to thoroughly compare the performance difference.  It "seems" to have more "get-up" than before and no oil mess.
  • @cchancel oh ok, that’s what I’ve heard about those filters but I’ve also heard oil cleans 1000 times better 🤷🏼‍♂️
