What is this boot/trunk locking handle off?

I have a 1930's period boot/trunk locking handle and I am unsure if it was used on a Hudson.
Does anyone recognise it?

Looks like a model A Ford coupe rumble seat handle but that’s just a guess from how many where made.
hope this get some ideas rolling if I’m wrong

It looks like the trunk handle on my '34 but it's probably a generic handle fitted to a lot of 1930s makes of car.
