Modern Off-the-shelf starter to replace MCH-6109?

Hello all,
I am looking to see if there is a supplier of 12v, negative ground starters that are compatable with the 6109? I have seen people dealing with snap, but after a negative experience with the Willys starter for my pickup, I am wary of dealing with them again. Thanks in advance!

Kerry on the forum here has one that he has worked up for Stepdowns w/ manual trans and there is one that can be found on ebay (I have one on my Hornet) for hydramatics.0
