15 inch wheels to fit 1940 super six

Hi Guys,
I am considering changing the 16- inch rims on my 1940, to 15- inch rims. Can anyone tell me what year Hudson began using 15- inch wheels, and if I can find some, would they have the same bolt pattern and fit the 40?

    No problem on getting you 15" rims. Same pattern as the 16"  I have what you need. My understanding is that after 1947 the 16" rims were discontinued. I think they were used on Commodores and it was available to the Super series as an option. I think 15" were standard for the Super Series.. In 1948 all Hudsons were 15".
