...or the drain plug is! Possibly a crack in the plug hole. Or, could you try some teflon tape, I wonder...?0

There is a weep hole near the drain plug. If it is coming from there, it's bad. If it is coming from the drain plug, you might be able to remove the plug and seal it with liquid teflon.0

Explain drain plug? If you mean the hole in the casing under the bearing, yes it is bad and the pump needs rebuilding or replacing.0

There is a square 7/16 plug that seems to be where it is leaking. It is not leaking from the weep hole. Don't know what the plug is for.0 -
O.K. you just need to remove that plug and re-install with some teflon seal tape.0
