Oil canister question
Looks like Fram. Does someone here have one with a readable decal with replacement cartridge number? Is there a source for replacement decals in case I want to doll it up while it's on the bench?
Most importantly: How do I get the top off? I tapped around the edges after removing the top fastener. Am I missing something, or is more force required? Thanks.

Take out the bolt on top and tap the lid upward no doubt the rubber or cork seal under it is dried out and stuck you may have to hit it a few times to be safe I would leave the top bolt in part way so when it comes off it will not go flying also try Doug Wildrick for the decals, I think he may have them.0
