What is your recommendation for type of sealant when installing with new seals? I am leaning towards 3M 8509 for the rear and 3M 8609 for the fronts. Any thoughts? Thanks!

use something that dries clear, and smooth it with a wet finger.0

If you are talking about front windshield and rear backglass you want the 8509 between both the glass and gasket and the window frame and gasket.. It is really messy, but cleans up real well with mineral spirits if you get some on the headliner.0

Afraid that 3M 8509 has been discontinued. The company does not have a recommended replacement. Does anyone have a specific product that worked for them?0

The Mustang crowd is using this as a replacement for 08509.
