52-53 rear window upper molding retainer

I am looking for a good molding retainer for the 52-53 rear window upper molding. The trim does
not have good lips to make up the type that is placed into the lip to pull the molding down to the
body surface. Wildricks does not have this size.

    When I talked to Wildricks about this retainer, I was told they take the wider retainer and cut out the middle and reweld to the proper width.  Hopefully there is an easier solution as I need this retainer as well.

    They did not tell me that but it is exactly what I am working on right now. Pictures later if it succeeds.
