1934 Hudson/Terraplane Tear Drop Horn Screen
I have been fortunate to locate, what I believe, is an original tear drop horn with "grill" insect screen intact. I would like to remove the screen and get some laser cut. My problems is - how to remove it with damaging the screen?
Before I tackle it, does anyone have suggestions on how to remove the screen?

That doesn't look like the standard horn on a '34 car to me.
It should be a mesh bug screen and I think - from memory - the aperture for the screen, and therefore the mesh, should be circular.
My original horns are in my attic and I haven't seen them for years.
I'll dig them out and post some pics.0 -
May be not 1934 but definitely 1936.

My horns need a bit of restoration but if you want them, I'm happy to let them go.
I'll post some pics when I find them.0 -
Hopefully, horn pics will appear tomorrow or Wednesday.0

These reproduction horns are identical to those that came on my '33 KT. They have screens. I am looking for advice on how to tune these horns to a musical interval. Any help?0

I have had success in removing the grill screen - three golf balls behind the screen and a bit of pressure and it popped out without distorting the grill screen.
This is what the screen looks like out.
