1934 Hudson/Terraplane Radio mounting
I’m installing the correct radio in my 1934 Terraplane coupe. As most probably know, the radio has two parts; the radio head that mounts to the dash and the electronics box that (I believe) mounts under the steering column support bracket. The mounting holes on top of the radio do not match any of the pre-existing holes in the support bracket. I can only surmise that I’m missing a bracket or there’s a different support bracket. Does anyone have one or a picture of it??

Thanks Jack,Does your radio box have a mounting bracket or does it just bolt directly to the steering support member?0

It is placed almost on the ground to the right of the accelerator pedal. In my opinion fixed to the partition. I will take pictures in more detail. Everything is original from 1934; but a little mix of pieces. Like the arm shock absorber and other details;car assembled in Belgium in Antwerp and distributed by agent Pilette in Brussels

this is perfect, Jack. So it appears there’s an ‘L’ bracket on the left side of the radio that has three slots to match the mounting holes on the radio box. The ‘L’ bracket then mounts to the firewall. Does that make sense?0
