Finally Twin Vortex/Super Power Dome II head is ready for tooling

After months and months of redesign on the new head, it is finally going to tooling fabrication tomorrow.  Here is the CAD top view for anyone interested in knowing what it will look like.  I am still taking orders if you are interested.  Hoping we can finally get real product by some time in March!

A few comments - the internal structure of the head has been modified and strengthened over the original Twin Vortex design and other tweaks have been made to ensure the head fits.  The thermostat housing has been relocated to the original Hudson housing location, although the flange now is designed to accept SBC housing and thermostat, i.e. the original Hudson stock housing will not fit this head!  This was done to accommodate a stock power steering pump as used in the '54 setup and some have retrofitted to earlier Hudson vehicles.  However, if you are using the AMC AC compressor bracket you will need to machine the fins on the right side of the head to make it fit as designed.
