Nuts on connecting rods

Do you pin, wire, use palnuts or just torque the nuts on connecting rods? This is for a '33 Terraplane 8. Thanks.

    Split pins with castellated nuts.

    My Rolls Royce trained engineer friend who did mine used Pal Nuts. Nylock nuts shouldn't be used.
