1951 Hudson hornet trunk and hood padding

taking apart 51 Hudson hornet to restore, looking to find correct or very similar replacement for the black dense padding that was used in between the trunk lid skin and inner structure as well as the hood rear cross brace. it is a black dense, tar fabric like textured padding.  It of course or too far gone to reuse. so looking for the correct replacement material.
