Looks like I will  have to rebuild my 308 or keep driving it gently and try and find another 308 to rebuild at my leisure would I be able to find an engine to rebuild I don’t guess I will find one in the uk but I do have a shipper in New York if I could get one to him it might work what would I have to pay for a rebuildable 1954 308 over there in the USA just a thought maybe someone in the uk will see this and be able to help who knows anyway any ideas !
