Step down fuel tank questions

Is there a good tank coating that will seal the inside of a tank? I used something some years ago that sealed up a problem tank I had problems with.

When I sealed the tank in my Super Wasp, I drained and power washed the inside of the tank.  I then taped the openings and added a large can of saniflush toilet bowl crystals and filled up with water.  I rolled the tank over every hour for about 8 hours.  I then rinsed with water followed by acetone and blew it dry.  I followed with Eastwoods gas tank sealer.  Added the bottle, closed the openings and rolled the tank to cover everything.  It has been 20 years without any problems.  Do make sure to blow out the vent line fitting though.
