Wanted: clips for chrome strips on fender skirts

1951 super six hudson.  I have the correct chrome strips for the car, and i have the skirts, but my chrome is too wide for the clips on the skirts (i have skirts from a Hornet, i think).
Im thinking i need the proper clips for the Super strips.
Anyone?

might be easier to just get the correct skirts. where are you located?
