1928 Essex wheel bolts

where would one get bolts (with proper nuts) to hold the tires onto the rim

all my spares are in bad shape

the carriage bolts have a bent side so it locks in on the back of the wheel

i don't have a torch to make my own, and my luck i would just melt the dickens out of them

looks like you could grind down the edge to make it fit. Does the square shoulder lock in place>

Use ordinary coach bolts and grind one side off the head.

ill borrow a torch from a friend and buy 24 carriage bolts and see if i can McGiver 12 to look as close to originals :D
