Does the 39 Hudson originally have a Fender Wheel Cover

We have a 1939 Hudson Country Club six 93 and on the Driver side it has a spare tire. Is this original or was added? Does anyone know if there is one out there?

We are looking to get parts for this one, one part at a time while we get it fired up.

Yes that was a option on the cars. One I wish I had. And as Mike said you are lucky to have the 3 grill pieces in tact. I had to have some made for my 39.

That’s a sweet car, I might be getting a ‘40 Commidore Eight soon. To go with my ‘40 truck. That side mount looks very factory and I think was an option.

You are lucky to have the three grill pieces in the front. They are frequently broken and completely unobtainable if you need them

Correct 1939 glass lenses can be obtained, as well. https://www.ebay.com/itm/275003847325 (you can probably find cheaper lenses).

However, you will also need the 1939 reflectors, sockets and housings. These may be beneath the existing chromed bezel...or they may have been removed.

jesquievel53, you have the aftermarket sealed beam headlights on your car. I had those on mine too, but I went back to the original as I like that look better. I agree with Jon B you can find cheaper lenses. I do hope you have the reflectors under the aftermaket lights but its a 50/50. I didn't so I had to buy everything. But if you decide you will stay with the aftermarket sealed beam lights and want a nicer pair, let me know. I have the ones that were on my car in a shelf in the garage not being used.
