Out driving My 1947 Hudson 4 dr. Super six the speedometer quit working. It's not the cable as that it was the first thing that I checked. Can anyone help me with a replacement? Email is allanmay19@gmail.com/

Read through this previous discussion. You may need some light oil where the cable goes into the back of the speedometer.
I use an oil in a nifty bottle that reaches in hard to get to areas Zoom Spout, it's great for speedometers.

Don't over-oil it ! Too much oil gums up the works.
Use a very light clock and watch oil.
