Removal & installation of motor mounts for ‘53 Wasp sedan
Can anyone supply me with or tell me where I can find instructions for the removal and installation of the rubber motor mounts on a ‘53 Wasp sedan please? I can’t find anything in either the ‘48-‘54 Workshop or Body Service Manuals. Thanks. Bill

Get an engine hoist to lift the engine up enough to clear the mount. Also loosen or remove the bolts that hold the transmission mount(s), (manual trans cars have one and a Hydramatic has two) to let the engine and transmission move and not damage those unless you are changing them too. You might need to disconnect any fuel or coolant lines first, and possibly throttle and shift linkages.
