1949 Commodore 4 Door Window mechanism

Hi I have problems reinstalling the window mechanism on the front doors. The spring controlled axis either works up or down depending on the position of the lower axis arm. It seems to have a spring loaded guide, but i cant figure out where its supposed fit.

Anyone have some tips on the installation?
