Different Engines
I am bit curious about how many Hudson car or pickup owners have installed a different engine in their vehicle? Besides a rebuilt Hudson engine

I’m putting a 429 Caddy and THM 400 in my ‘40 truck. I know another guy w a ‘46 truck w a rowdy 454. Another guy on here used a 472 Caddy. Any engine can work with the right mods. Hell, there was another guy on here a few years ago making his Hornet electric.

We have not heard from the EV Hudson guy in a long long time. I wonder what happened to it? I know there was a '53 Hornet in N. CA w/ a 455 Buick running around. Green and black if I remember right.

Here is my 47 pickup with 4.2 liter (254 ci) jaguar 6 cylinder from a 1973 xj6 with gm turbo 350 trans. It has the jag irs with 2.88 gears and the jag ifs both with the jag disc brakes. This engine and the old 212 measured within 1/2 in length

I must agree, an online six, even a jag engine looks correct in a Hudson
