Is the ring gear on a 262 the same as on a 308, ?
Just wondering, as my starter keeps jamming, and is a bear to get unstuck. Starter drive has 9 teeth.

The starter requires a set of studs that fit into the bell housing to keep the starter Bendix aligned.

Are the starter mounting studs used with hydramatic transmissions? I have not seen these on my two hydramatic cars.
