Hudson vacuum pump?

Currently on the H-E-T Facebook page, there seems to be some difficulty in identifying an old tool with a "Hudson" nameplate on it. Some believe it's a vacuum pump for a Hudson automobile.

In fact it's an old electric sprayer made by a company with no connection to the Hudson car company. Here's one currently up for sale on Ebay:

I'm not a member of Facebook, so I can't post this info on the Facebook page. But if someone who's a Facebook member, wants to send this information over to the Facebook page, I'm sure some of the visitors there will appreciate the solution to the mystery.

    Pretty sure this was determined elsewhere as an Orchard spray pump for pesticides.
