Front Spring Grease Fitting on 34 and 35 Cars
I've lost the grease fitting for the front spring bushing on my 34 Hudson 8 - probably due to bumpy English roads.
It's the little round disc that's threaded for the grease fitting itself and is interference fit in the bushing.
The Railton Owners Club can't help me with a replacement, so has anyone got an old one lying around that they don't want, please ?

The description does not sound like the Zerk or Alemite types.
Maybe a picture of one of the others may help in the search

It is a standard thread for a zerk fitting.
Mine popped out as well. Just weld a properly threaded nut onto a proper diameter washer and weld that on the end of the bushing. Thread the zero fitting in when complete.

Thanks very much Tom.
I'll be borrowing a MiG welder set and will be following your instructions.
David.
