With a very heavy heart I wanted to let that Lance Walker passed away yesterday morning unexpectedly. Many of you knew him or bought parts from him in the US or abroad. He loved helping people get their cars back on the road and his knowledge of the Step Downs was amazing. Sincerely, Laurie Walker

i dealt with Lance for many years and he was a true resource in the Hudson hobby. He will be missed in many ways. RIP Lance.

  • I never had a chance to meet Lance face to face, but i could talk to him for hours. I was happy to have found him on this website some yrs ago His knowledge of my 47 Hudson super six, has helped me in so many ways. I just spoke to him a little over a week ago, and wished him a happy new year. I called him again yesterday and left a message. as always I got a phone call right back, but this time it was his wife Laurie, and she told me the bad news. It bothered me all night. For a guy who I never met, just talked to over the phone. I feel like I lost a good friend. R.I.P. Lance your friend Indiana John.

Lance was one of the constants of this forum... I got a lock set from him way back when i first started this adventure, and he talked my ear off one evening when I asked about some rear springs. He will be greatly missed. Here's to you, Lance! *Raises glass*
