Lance Walker
This was posted on Facebook:
With a very heavy heart I wanted to let that Lance Walker passed away yesterday morning unexpectedly. Many of you knew him or bought parts from him in the US or abroad. He loved helping people get their cars back on the road and his knowledge of the Step Downs was amazing. Sincerely, Laurie Walker

I never had a chance to meet Lance face to face, but i could talk to him for hours. I was happy to have found him on this website some yrs ago His knowledge of my 47 Hudson super six, has helped me in so many ways. I just spoke to him a little over a week ago, and wished him a happy new year. I called him again yesterday and left a message. as always I got a phone call right back, but this time it was his wife Laurie, and she told me the bad news. It bothered me all night. For a guy who I never met, just talked to over the phone. I feel like I lost a good friend. R.I.P. Lance your friend Indiana John.

Lance was one of the constants of this forum... I got a lock set from him way back when i first started this adventure, and he talked my ear off one evening when I asked about some rear springs. He will be greatly missed. Here's to you, Lance! *Raises glass*

Lance will be missed, one of the great Hudson part vendors he was very helpful to me over the years. Just recently I spoke with him about a heater switch for my 39 and he told me to send him mine and he would see could he bring it to life, Sadly I never got it to him as I told I would after the holidays. RIP my friend!

I sent Lance an email yesterday to advise him that I had sold one of my Hudsons to a guy in Sanford, NC and his wife Laurie gave me the bad news. Lance lived only 65 miles from me and I have been to his residence many times. I bought my second Hudson and many parts from him. We often swapped parts and he and his wife hosted a wonderful meet for the Dogwood Chapter every April. I am devastated, especially since I had no idea that he had passed.

Didn't see anything in the WTN.
Really sad to hear as I have bought parts and sold parts to Lance. Visited with Lance at multiple Nationals.😪
