6 volt Battery case

I bought an Optima 6 volt battery for my 39, it is a bit small for my battery tray. Are there 6 volt style battery cases that are made or would I need to cut up a battery and fashion my own?

I believe Optima makes one that looks like a regular battery. Not cheap tho....

I bought a couple off of eBay. They look like a regular 6 volt battery with the three caps. You put the Ultima battery inside and the posts stick up through the top. Looks like a regular 6 volt battery. I hated the look of the Ultima battery when the hood was open on my Hudson’s.

My battery is located under the driver's floor where no-one sees it..

So I just put some blocks of wood either side of the Optima to stop it sliding around in the battery box.
