So Long, It's Been Good To Know Ya' - I'm Selling My1934 Hudson Eight Brougham

I hope Paul won't object to me posting a for sale ad here, but a lot of you will be familiar with my car from my posts over the years.

Sadly, it has become time to let my Hudson go. My wife fractured her spine last year and finds riding in a 1930s car very uncomfortable. I'm now looking for something post-WW2 that has an easier ride and deeper seats - I rather fancy a nice quality classic French car such as a Hotchkiss S49.

However, I only have garage space for one old car, so after owning it for 29 years I must sell the Hudson.

It's a three owner car with an interesting back-story (I have the original Illinois Title document in the envelope it was mailed to the first owner) and is the only 1934 Hudson Eight LTS ("Challenger") Brougham on the HET roster - although there are a small handful of De Luxe Broughams. So you could say my car is a real rarity in Hudson terms !

I'm asking £14,750 (UK Pounds) or a near offer and the sale will include some hard-to-find parts and manuals, etc. - and a few nice period accessories.

As I'm in the UK, I'm guessing that my car will probably be of most interest to other British, Irish and European Hudson enthusiasts but if anyone would like full details and pics of the car, please contact me.

All the best,

David

Thanks, guys, for the kind sentiments.

I hope someone out there will want the car. I'm being very realistic on price because I'd like to sell it quickly as I've found a Hotchkiss that would be in my price range - the one in the pics.

Definitely a couple of beautiful cars!

I would soo love to have the 34 in my garage. Between convincing the wife WHY, and the drive from there to Georgia, don't think its gonna happen!

    Best of luck,

    Jeff

LOL! Yea, that just might exceed the limit....and after 38 years, I don't want to have to train another one.😋
