Selling your Hudson through an antique car consignment dealer
Have you ever used an antique car consignment dealer to sell your Hudson? Do you know anyone who has? There are quite a few of them, and they sound like a good idea. The larger ones provide climate-controlled storage, clean-up, advertising, maintenance of cars, and other professional services aimed to making the selling process an easy one. In return, they take a "cut" of the sales price. This can make them quite attractive to someone who has (for instance) inherited a car and wants to sell it -- but not spend time getting the car ready for sale, researching valuation, showing the car to dozens of prospective buyers, etc.
The Classic Auto Mall in Morgantown, PA is such a facility. It is built in an old shopping mall that can accommodate 1,000 cars. www.classicautomall.com/our-story
I would love to talk to someone who has used such a company, whether or not the car was actually sold. You can e-mail me at terraplane@verizon.net
