Biddle and Smart in Amesbury Mass

I was in Amesbury Mass this past summer and I found the Biddle and Smart factory, or at least one of the buildings. This might have been just the offices. There is more of it, but it is not conveniently laid out for photographs. This building is now shared office space for startups. I just stumbled across it as I was actually there to see the Walker Body plant that built most Franklin bodies. Turns out it is across the street. Carriages and then car bodies was a major industry for Amesbury, and they had numerous manufacturers up until the early 30s.
