1928 Essex with reconditioned engine no longer available

but before you get too excited , it's in Fife , Scotland.

This car had the engine rebuilt about 15 years ago , radiator reconditioned , all the brightwork done  and it was basically left then. I'm told (I've seen no photos) that the body is shot on it but the chassis is in good fettle and it's currently sitting on a trailer.

The owner is not looking for a vast amount for it , he's trying to basically stop what he has being scrapped.

The car has been "saved". One of our Irish members has been able to purchase it and it's now stored in a friend's barn awaiting its trip over to Ireland.

As I get more details I'll keep this thread updated
