Noticed my rear axle doesn't have the grease caps like the front axle

Found a part number BX71597 but not sure if this is correct.

See photos.

Think about it - What grease are you trying to keep in?

    Thanks

Looking for a fuel pump for my 1936 Railton Tourer. Someone installed an electric fuel pump at the gas tank running into my mechanical fuel pump at the engine. Shouldn't I just have the mechanical fuel pump?

This could be why I am leaking fuel around the carburetor. Too much pressure.

Robert, the Carter WDO on your Railton with the 8 cylinder only wants 3-4 PSI pressure. The modern electric pump you have , if it is not specifically a "low pressure" pump, will exceed that 3-4 PSI by a significant margin. I assume there is not a pressure regulator between the electric pump and the WDO carburetor? When was the WDO last rebuilt?

If you are going to use an electric pump I like these made in NZ Fuel Flow pumps, they have a low pressure pump in 6V and 12V. I'm using one on a 35 8, I've put another on a 36T, and I've put another on a 600 cu in Waukeshaw (sp?) in a Linn half track logging truck that gets about 4mpg. The pumps have heaps of volume.

Someone in your part of the world will be selling them.
