I have recorked the clutch for my 29
Hudson and now need to machine the corks down to a suitable height.
Any advice as to height of corks above baseplate?

Doug Wildrick does this service for Hudson owners. You could call him for the appropriate thickness. I would never try to do this myself, as he has all the proper equipment and experience to do it right. But, since you have started, I'm sure he could provide you with the info.

You need to machine them to 1/8" first, then using a suitable press, oil them and heat to 100C. and compress them down to 1/16". This is essential to get good service from the clutch. Otherwise it will wear out real quick.
