Recommended tool to remove door handles
Is there an upholstery tool recommended for the ‘33 window crane and door handle?

There is just a little pin that goes thru the handle and the square lever on the door. Push the door panel back with your hand and use a long skinny punch to push the pin out . Be careful as something too big or too much side force on the handle end may break the handle. The handle is pot metal and not very strong.

Thank you Mike. I did that method with my ‘35, but those handles are a bit more robust than the ‘33’s. I thought perhaps a mfg tool might require less push on the inner panel and less strain on the escutcheon.
if no other opinions I will do it the old fashion way.
Thank you again.

If you find a tool for this use, I would be interested in learning about it. Thanks, Mike
