Steering box

Hi all,

I want to pull the steering box from my 36 T to get it checked out. Does anyone know if the box comes out by itself or does the steering wheel have to come off and the whole shaft gets removed with it?

Steering wheel needs to be removed, then the box and shaft are removed through the engine bay. The steering box is of simple construction, the hardest part of disassembly is usually removing the pitman arm.

Thanks Bob. That's pretty much what I thought. Kinda figured it wasn't going to be simple.
