Heater control valve
What did a 1940 Hudson have for a heater control valve, to regulate, and stop, the flow of hot coolant to the heater core? If there were no valve, is there any I could put in that would work? Even if it were controlled from the engine bay, without a choke-type cable, that would be ok. Thanks for any help.

Original valve had pitcock, but until you find proper valve, you can use 1/2" copper regular plumbing valve with short piece of pipe on each end with hose clamps. :-).0
