1953 Jet

Hudson spent a lot of time and money making that car ugly. It's hard to believe someone could make one uglier, but there it is.0

I agree with you completely. I just noticed the rear window - and my opinion of it is not favorable.
The profile though, I like. Had Hudson taken about 2 inches out of the body with that profile, that could have been a very sleek little car.
I really like the pillarless treatment. I don't know how that would effect a Jet structurally (I'll bet its not so good).

It looks like someone started out with the intention of making a compact stepdown. Cool in theory but poor in exectuion. It looks like that after swilling down way too much beer, out came the sawzall and ballpeen hammers. The rest is...a mess.0 -
the roofline looks good, execution is poor.
There needs to be some material removed from below the beltline, and lowered.
other than that... it's a cool start.
Seems there are too many projects that start like this and end up sorta the same way, on eBay, someone else's problem....0 -
someone elses problem, but can you imagine how scary it would be if some of these nutters "finished" their cars? i find it funny that this seller says he "couldnt let it go", just what is he doing right now?0

Maybe he means it's not physically possible to let it go. Maybe someone welded it to a fire hydrant or he knows just how unsafe it is!0
