Original Colour of my '39 112

Here's a thought that just occurred to me - no idea why though. My 1939 112 is currently painted black but I was wondering if there is any way of finding out if this was the original colour when it was new?

I think there's a paint code letter on the vehicle ID plate on the right front door post. Drop me an email at NEChudsontech09@yahoo.com (Drop the NEC) and I can send you a paint chart that gives the paint code, paint name and the Ditzler Lacquer code.



If anyone else is interested in a copy of this chart it covers 1935 thru 1941 - there are no paint codes for 1935 and 1936, but does give the Ditzler code.
