sick jet

A few weeks ago I had a problem with my 53' Jet falling on its face when you kicked down hard on the accelerator. You guys told me to check the accelerator pump, I did and it seems ok. Well last night I was checking it again and something caught my eye. There is a real nice crack underneath the carb on the engine side in the intake. I do think that could be my problem. (I hope.)

That will do it as you will lose vaccuum through that crack. Pull the intake and take it too a good welder to fix unless of course you are that good welder.

I have 2 extra ones that are good, But I might go ahead and see if I can get it welded.
