Hudsons - Craigslist
Was doing a little surfing and came across someone selling 4 Stepdowns.
1-48 coupe, 2-49 Sedans and a 54 Sedan with leather interior! The ad lists them as being Spokane, but all were found under Raleigh. Anyone who is local and/or interested may want to check them out.

hows aboot a link Mr Helper?0 -
"Well, what I meant was" (sounds like political speak)-- "What's up with those cars?"
The one I have is enough for me, but I was intrigued by the leather interior--I think I have only seen a few pictures of that interior in convertibles.
What's up with me is thinking that I'd like to see pictures of the seat and door patterns for a 54 with a leather interior. I'm also dreaming that Santa will leave a nice (not green) 1954 steering wheel for me under the tree. I'm not planning on bidding on the one on ebay funds as are a bit slim right now getting various mechanical things taken care of on my Hornet. Also if some worthy HET member/Hudson owner really needs that item (maybe bidder #1) I hope that they get it at a decent price.
Cheers,

Oh...
red or no red, green would be looking mighty nice to me, but he, my hudson's green, I got two wheels laying here right now, just didn't take the time to pull the wheel off.
I kinda want to know more about the 54 with leather. especially being a 4 door.0 -
Hello Hudsonkid,
Here try this:

Basically it is just the forum search results or "spokane" (following your sage advice to search).
I hope that provides the link--this is the only url I could get for the post.

I see. I too would like to know if there is a difference in the pattern for leather upholstery used in closed cars. Better be good so that Santa doesn't bring you a cracked steering wheel.0 -
Didn't we have a forum frequenter that was moving from the West coast to NC ? Seems I recall him asking about the Dogwood Chapter. Someone that has a better memory than me. ' I have a good memory but it's short.

A family that I know in Stanwood, Wa. has a 54 4door that came with leather seats. But in order to "make" the deal, dealer had all upholstry done in leather, door panels and headliner too. This car remains in the family with less than 60000 miles on it.0

That's me! Just got out here three weeks ago and I really miss my Hornet. Going back home for X-Mas, and I get to drive it for a whole week!
As far as the craigslist thing goes, if you type in your search in the box on the left, it searches ALL listings, not just the locals.0 -
If the cars are Craigslist are yours, can you share some photos of the leather interior when you get back home?0

FWIW, Hudson and all car manufacturers uses leather only on seating area of seats. The remainder was matching vinyl that was much more durable and less expensive. I just purchased a new vinyl called Rave for 35.00/yard that is very leather like and matches the leather we have for seats on Nick's 48 cv.:)0 -

No no, what I meant was, I'm the guy that moved away. I don't own those cars. I wish I did. Actually I'd be happy with the shop they appear to be in.0
