Thermostat Housing Bolt Torque

I don't know but that sounds like enough. If it leaks, take the thermostat out of the housing and make sure the little groove where it seats is perfectly clean. I've had it happen that some crud kept the thermostat from seating all the way fluch and it held the housing off enough to cause a leak.0

Currently I have them at 25 pounds.
20-30 Ft-lb is per the book0 -
It's also not uncommin for the bottom surface to be less than ideal as far as straightness is concerned, with a bow in the centre. Test it against a straight edge, and if necessary dress it flat.
