  • Man, with the exception of the Healy, Nash cars of that era were butt ugly.
  • Looks like one of those cars they sell at Chevron stations!

Oh man, the things I would do for a Nash-Healy. You gotta hand it to the Nash guys though, they were thinking outside the box. Way outside.

You want to see butt ugly go stand by the freeway and watch the 1990 to 2006 jellybean cars go by. The main differance in cars today like jellybeans is the color
  • Lois Lane is hot, Screw the Nashes!

This is something we see eye to eye on! I think its the wide fender, narrow track look of the Nash that bugs me.

You said it! Plus, the 50's Nash cars were dinky, plain and cheaply built.

So I guess that puts them years before their time? Just like the cars that are being sold now.
I still like the way the Nash bathtubs look!

You hit that one on the head. I think it's the front wheel openings, or lack thereof, on the Nash that bugs me.

You ever followed a step-down with stock size bias-ply tires?
  • great pics there, grew up on black and white t.v. w/rabbit ears, lol. this would be {the dvd} under lots of trees soon. i love to watch the background and identify cars, now superman on dvd i can stop/pause. ain"t live great.:)

Yeah, I know...my Jet is a bit like that, too. But it seems so exaggerated on the Nash.

Did you guys happen to notice that one of the cars in those flicks was a Kaiser? Look again at the picture where Superman appears to be driving an imaginary steering wheel. As the proud owner of a Kaiser Manhattan, I dare you to refer to one of them as "butt ugly".
  • After watching Superman seasons 1-6 on DVD I now get in and out of my Hornet using the passenger door. Just like Lois and Clark do in every car episode. Guess it was convenient for them they never walked around to the drivers side.

That way they never walked out of sight of the camera to get in the car.
