For all Hudson and Essex owners,

You are cordially invited to bring your car and parts to sell to the Het national meet in Auburn In this July

A tech session for 1909 to 1932 cars will be held on Thurs. July

26th. A great place to meet other car owners. During the meeting we will discuss forming a special interest group Hudson Essex Era (HEE) within the HET club. This is a venue to exchange information and to build attendance of these cars.

Should you be making parts or have a technical expertise you are welcome to be a part of the meeting , please advise.

See you in Auburn 2007

  • I plan to bring my 1927 Essex and far as I can tell by the roster, there is only four of the 2 door coach in the HET Club. I would be interested in forming a Hudson Essex Era group, as sometimes it is hard to find others that can help me with my "Essex" problems. ( I have some parts that I plan to bring and sell.)

I also like the HEE group idea and will be at the old HETs and guys tech session and wish I could have my 29 Hudson there but along way from Indiana for that. Thanks and keep us Old HET cars and folks in your forum talks. Ron
  • Sheldon,

Once the time is formally set for the meeting on Thursday, please let me know. I am going to do everything I can to be at the Nationals this year, but with many illnesses in the family it is a delicate situation. I would certainly like to be there for the tech session and meeting. I am also going to try to bring my '29 "R" Sedan, by trailer, as it's a little over 600 miles there for us.

As you know I manufacture the Hudson Engine Green paint for the early cars, and will bring a supply of it in cans and aerosols. I also make custom 00-gauge and 0000-gauge battery cables and rebuild starter switches, as well as Marvel carburetors.

Keep us posted on the details and hope to see you there.

In the last week 105 mailings have been sent to HET members in neighboring states to Indiana re the 2007 National meet and the HEE tech session. In addtion 850 emails have been sent to HET owners of HEE cars nationwide. There is a huge inventory of these cars and I look foward to seeing many of the HEE cars at the 2007 HET national meet.

Sheldon - sounds like a great idea. I'm in the midst of restoring a '33 Terraplane 8 Deluxe conv. cp. so your tech session & special interest group would be great.

I think I'll be coming through Auburn bringing home a Railton.
