308 with OD Tranny for sale

308 with a two lever overdrive tranny for sale. Being removed from a 54 Hornet Club Coupe that I am parting out.



The 308 turns over but I have never heard it run. You may get lucky but best to plan on a rebuild.



The tranny is a two lever overdrive and is still hooked up to the 308. It is missing the solenoid.



Items are in Jacksonville NC and must be picked up.(will not ship) Delivery is possible to a reasonable distance for a fee.

if i wasnt so far west of you it was east again i would jump on this. freighting this behemoth would cost too much for me to do it.

Just a thought. Anyone converting from 3 speed would need the driveshaft with it.

Josh, All you have to do is shorten your old shaft. I admit that if you don't live where they can be done professionally then you might want the old shaft but other than that it shouldn't prevent you from buying this setup if interested.

One of these days I want to upgrade my tranny, or at least change the ratio at the rear end. Have a 308 in an otherwise stock 48 Super Six. Seems to top out early. Your OD would sure be nice, but I'm in Calif. Perhaps if you could build a large enough trebuchet. :-) "Air Mail".
