Thanks for the reply. I talked to him Tuesday or wednesday and He doesn't have them. They are one of his "in developement" projects. If I wanted 1/2" That wouldn't be a problem. I just don't want to take the block and head to a machine shop to make the modifications.
Thanks, Dave0 -

If you are not looking for the 1/2 inch stud modification, the solution is around the corner or down the street. You need some Grade 8 replacement bolts with appropriate washers for under the heads. Take one of the old 7/16 bolts to your favorite local bolt dealer and ask for sufficient stock to finish the job. If you do not have a local bolt dealer... We are lucky here in the HOT to have several. Check out Tractor Supply...http://www.mytscstore.com/detail.asp?pcID=2&paID=1019&sonID=570
or Home Depot...http://www.homedepot.com
Remember to chase the holes in the block with a tap and check each bolt with a thread chaser. Lube before installation and torque per Hudson Specs.
Good Luck

I dunno about using home depot bolts. I have gotten some questionable bolts from there. Even the grade 8 stuff there looks chintzy. I'd look for a local bolt and screw supplier and get the appropriate sized grade 8 bolts and some parallel ground hardened washers.
Keep that head torqued too!

My True Value hardward stocks a good supply of grade 8 stuff.0
