Step Down Cam Drawing
As some of you all know, I am working on a Hudson Pacemaker Brougham Bonneville entry. The car is stock bodied and with all original trim and bumpers in place. The modifications are in the engine and drive train and the
car will run at a height too low to run on the street.
There will be two engines--one for the 325 CID class (XO/PRO) and one for the 375 CID class (XXO/PRO). It has been decided to make new billet camshafts and to make the blanks, I would save a significant (up to $2000)
amount of money by avoiding "reverse engineering", if I can find a real Hudson engineering drawing of any camshaft for the family of engines that began in 1948.

I don't have a drawing, but I am wondering what part of the camshaft you are wanting to "reverse engineer"? The linear spacings and diameters shouldn't be very difficult, what is difficult are the lobe positions.
You may be able to call Joe Mondello and get the information you need. His shop has an Audie Cam Pro Plus that is comprised of a digital linear and rotary encoder. It can accurately spec out any lobe profile and position on the camshaft you may want. Joe has one of Randy's "Hot Cams" in his shop right now, if you could use it for a reference.
