I think the reserve is 40,0000

If this is the Hudson coupe on e-bay, look at the serial number, the first three digits 493 indicate a '49 super "8". However the car sure appears to be a Commodore. They must think they can do a Barret-Jackson. The car is nice but there are limits. Hope who ever buys it takes care of it. A.M.0

Wasn't this the one that might have been a Super and someone upgraded it. This is not the first time this one has bounced around on ebay or Hemmings.0

Its a gorgeous car- but too gorgeous for me. In my nearly 60 years on the planet, I have discovered 3 things- I love old cars, I am not meticulous, and I HATE detailing. So I spent some pretty good money for the best driver I could afford, and I enjoy driving it, and doing some fairly minimal work keeping it presentable. I do love to look at the gorgeous ones, but am thankful I get to drive mine without fear of messing it up and losing my investment.0 -

I am right there with you. I would feel guilty about owning a car that nice because there is no way I would spend the required time to detail it. For me the ideal car is a driver.
